We checked in at 1400 and were allocated room number 40, much to my partners surprise and amusement. When we arrived to check in around 1330, we were told the room wasn't ready as of yet with check in not until 1400 we went for a walk to get some supplies from the supermarket close by. Myself and partner don't drink alcohol so swapped out the champagne for fruit drinks. This included rose petals, balloons, and champagne. I spoke to the wonderful Beatriz, and I arranged for the romance package to be added to the room. I contacted the hotel around a fortnight before to arrange a few special bits in the room for my partner upon arrival. Where to even begin on how amazing Sol House really is! We regularly visit Santa Eulalia as we have friends who live and work on the island. The location is perfect, there is a supermarket just 5 minutes away! The marina is about a 10 minute walk, you can either turn left out of the hotel and go through the trees following the path, or turn right and then left walking past the supermarket on the road. Maybe this should be monitored a bit more. Although we did see a few people sneaking up there via steps through a rope barrier. You are allowed to access the rooftop pool when you stay in one of their suites.
The gym was small but adequate, 1 treadmill, 1 bike, 1 cross trainer, a few weight resistance machines and dumbells.
Not sure if this was just the suite rooms. The hotel offer a turndown service and check every night if you would like fresh towels, they being you little chocolates too. The extra relax suite was just beautiful, very spacious and we woke up to a sunrise every morning! We had a day bed on the balcony and a table and chairs. All staff very helpful! We stayed on a B&B basis and they had everything from cooked breakfast, baked pastries, yoghurts, bread, deli meats, even donuts! My only gripe would be that they need to keep the food a bit hotter, but that said it was all very tasty! They even had a violinist playing at breakfast some mornings which was very relaxing.
